The deadline to register for the upcoming National Leadership Seminar (NLS) and Developing Youth Leadership Conference (DYLC) in Atlanta, Georgia is quickly approaching.
NLS is a weekend conference focusing on the skills and characteristics of leadership. It is intended primarily to enhance the leadership skills of the OA’s youth and adult members, as they seek to improve their service to Scouting and the greater community.
DYLC is a weekend training course for adult Arrowmen. Participants will learn ways to help youth leaders solve problems and analyze situations as well as the tools and personal skills that are essential for the development of effective youth leadership.
The NLS & DYLC weekend is occurring on March 6-8, 2020 and the location is the Atlanta Area Council Office in Atlanta, Georgia. The NLS & DYLC courses are some of the most effective tools available for empowering current and future lodge leaders. The cost for the weekend is $230 which covers meals, training materials, and lodging in nearby hotels. It will be several years before NLS & DYLC return to the area, so I hope that you will take advantage of the proximity of this course to you.
